Our charming restaurant Estragon – La Placa has been run by the new owner Felix since November 01, 2023. At Estragon, we attach particular importance to hospitality and high-quality cuisine. Our focus is on refined regional and seasonal products paired with passionate service. Visit us and experience unique moments of pleasure in a relaxed and warm atmosphere.

The Estragon restaurant itself already has a 20-year history in Felanitx. Originally run by a Spanish owner, German expats Georg & Yvette took over the restaurant in the fall of 2022. After extensive renovation work, the new owners celebrated the reopening of the restaurant in February 2023. However, they decided to hand over the business for personal reasons.

Felix Passow has been the new owner of Estragon since November 2023. Another German expat, he fell in love with the restaurant at first sight and moved to Felanitx without further ado. Without any experience in gastronomy, Felix left the luxury car industry, where he had worked for years, and ventured a new start in Mallorca. His family followed him a few months later.

Felix and his team have been running the Estragon with great personal commitment and passion ever since. Hospitality and warmth are at the heart of our successful concept. We want visitors to the Estragon to feel like they are staying with good friends. That is our aspiration.

Our chef Dani and her team form the heart of the restaurant. The passionate chef creates a variety of meat and fish dishes as well as excellent vegetarian dishes. In doing so, she creates a special fusion cuisine of classic dishes paired with individual and modern influences. Our friendly service staff complete our dedicated team.
